How to Find Claims Assistance

Please file claims directly with your insurance carrier. You should have the contact information for your carrier either in your paperwork or on your insurance card. If you have misplaced the contact information for your insurance provider’s claims department, please reach out to our customer service team or call us toll free at 866-505-6767.

In many cases, your insurance carrier will provide a mobile app for your convenience to initiate a claim, upload photos, request roadside assistance and more. In fact, many insurers would prefer that you communicate with them this way and the process is typically quicker. Just go to your app store and search for your carrier’s information or call your carrier to ask.

Make sure you understand what documents your insurance company will need, such as a “proof of claim” form and a police report, if one was filed. Use your cell phone to take pictures of the accident and relevant documents, such as the other driver’s information. Some carriers have time limits for filing, so make sure you understand your deadlines.

There are other steps you should take if you are involved in an accident. Above all, ensure your safety and the safety of those around you as much as possible.
