Cost-U-Less Insurance Gives Back to California Communities

At Cost-U-Less Insurance, we are invested in our California neighbors and communities. After all, we all work and live in those communities, too. A large part of our mission is to improve lives of Californians through promoting safety and security, investing in our youth and giving back. We do this by collaborating with charitable organizations, lending a hand in times of crisis, and fulfilling many initiatives associated with the insurance industry.

Corporate social responsibility comes easily to us because we are already invested in helping people through our insurance services. Our core values include:


The first letter of each of these attributes spells out I Care – and that’s who we are. People who care about our communities, our children and our shared humanity. Our CSR program supports a variety of organizations and initiatives, all designed to respond to emergencies, promote safety and invest in youth. Our partners include:

Insurance Industry Initiatives

Through our participation in the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation (IICF), Cost-U-Less is an active member of a wide variety of organizations that support programs that serve children, schools and communities. Some of those programs include donating funds for local charities and participating in volunteer local activities, such as packaging meals, and making cards.

Toys for Tots

Every year, our Cost-U-Less team members don their Santa’s elves personas and start collecting toys to distribute across a wide swath of homes where children may not find a wrapped gift under the tree on Christmas Day. We are partners with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve who sponsor this toy-bonanza nationwide every year. And every year, we surpass our previous year’s number of toys collected. Our Cost-U-Less family loves to take part in this initiative each year.


Our newest community partner sponsors a program that is near and dear to our hearts. Because we promote safety on the roads tirelessly all year – and we invest in our youth – this free program that teaches young drivers how to be better, safer drivers is a natural fit. The B.R.A.K.E.S. program is free, runs nationwide in high schools and delivers results we can back.
