OFFICIAL RULES
Earn $25 Guarantee (the “Guarantee”):
If Cost-U-Less Insurance and its affiliates cannot quote an auto insurance policy
with comparable coverages for a total lower annual cost, including fees, we will
pay you $25.00. You must be present in one of our offices to claim the guarantee
and you must provide all necessary information to obtain a comparable quote. Payment
will be in the form of a check and will be sent to you via U.S. Mail promptly after
qualification. You must be the primary insured on the policy and you may receive
only one $25.00 award per insured policy, regardless of how many insureds are covered
under the policy.
Guarantee period:
The Guarantee begins at 8:00 a.m. Pacific Time (“PT”) on June 1, 2009, and ends
at 7:59 p.m. PT October 31, 2010.
Eligibility:
The Guarantee is open to legal residents of the United States and the District of
Columbia who are at least 18 years of age or older as of the date of visit. Employees
and their immediate families (spouse, parent, sibling, child, and respective spouses)
and those living in their immediate households, whether or not related, of Cost-U-Less
and its respective parents, affiliates, and subsidiaries are not eligible for the
Guarantee. Valid only in California. All applicable federal, state, and local laws
and regulations apply. No purchase necessary. You must mention the Guarantee
advertisement at the time of your quote to be eligible.
Active California Auto Insurance Policy Required:
You must have a currently active and issued California auto insurance policy as
demonstrated by a declarations page showing the date of the policy, your name, vehicles
and coverages. Insurance ID Cards are not acceptable. The current policy cannot
be a policy purchased through Cost-U-Less or its affiliates. For comparison purposes,
we will quote you based on the information contained in the declarations page, even
if such information has changed.
Claiming Guarantee:
All guarantees must be claimed within 10 days. To claim a Guarantee award of $25,
participants must sign the Affidavit and General Release at the time of participation.
You must mention the Guarantee advertisement at the time you receive the Cost-U-Less
quote and be present in a Cost-U-Less office to be eligible.
How to Get a Quote.
Please visit one of our more than 80 locations throughout California. You must be
present in one of our offices to qualify for the Guarantee.
General conditions:
By participating in the Guarantee, participants agree to abide by the terms of these
Official Rules and by the determination of applicability of the guarantee by Cost-U-Less
Insurance and its affiliates, in its sole discretion, which will be final and binding
on all matters pertaining to the Guarantee. Except where prohibited by law, by claiming
the Guarantee, each participant agrees that Cost-U-Less and its designees may use
his or her name, likeness, city, and state for advertising, promotional, and other
purposes in any media now or hereafter known throughout the world (including the
right to post entry on Cost-U-Less' Web sites) without further compensation or notification.
Neither Cost-U-Less, nor its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising,
and promotion agencies, or the respective officers, directors, employees, or agents
of the foregoing (collectively, the “Released Parties”) are responsible for (i)
any injury, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from participation in the Guarantee
or acceptance, possession or use of any payment; or (ii) any warranty, representation,
or guarantee express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to any award. If for
any reason the Guarantee is not capable of running as planned, including infection
by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical
failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the Company, which corrupt or
affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of the
Guarantee, Cost-U-Less Cost-U-Less Insurance and its affiliates reserve the right
at its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process,
and to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Guarantee. Released Parties assume
no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay
in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, or destruction
or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, participants. Released Parties are
not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network
or lines, computer online systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software,
failure of any e-mail or entry to be received by Cost-U-Less Insurance and its affiliates
on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any
Web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's
or any other person related to or resulting from participation in the Guarantee.
REFERRAL OFFER
Any current Cost-U-Less Insurance customer that refers a friend or family member
that has not previously been a customer of Cost-U-Less Insurance for insurance can
earn a $25.00 referral fee. All you have to do is make sure the individual you refer
clearly identifies they were referred at the time of the quote and we will mail
you a $25.00 check. We appreciate your referral’s.
